About the role:

AusGroup currently has a number of opportunities becoming available across a range of sectors and assets at various life cycle stages within the SMP space.

As such, AusGroup are now seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Project Managers and Site Managers.

The successful candidate will Project Manage activities to achieve project time, budget objectives, and quality and performance criteria.

Your Background and Experience will include:

  • 10+ years proven experience working on major construction and/or maintenance projects
  • Understand and comply with all HSE management plans, systems and objectives.
  • Perform project management functions and tasks as required
  • Review contract and specification to develop methodology and staffing requirements to meet or exceed contracted requirements
  • Ensure equipment and materials are delivered at specified times to conform to work schedule and contract requirements
  • Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
  • Prepares and review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports
  • Ensures quality requirements including MDR requirements are completed
  • Ensures drawing and document control is maintained
  • Controls expenditure within limitations of project budgets
  • Controls variations and prepares claims for projects
  • Prepares interim and completion project progress and financial reports


  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
